Author Guidelines
The Global Journal of Sport and Exercise Science (GJSES) welcomes the submission of high-quality manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of sport science, physical education, and related disciplines.
Authors are encouraged to carefully read the following guidelines before submitting their manuscripts.
Types of Manuscripts
The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:
Original Research Articles
Reports of original scientific research presenting new findings in sport and exercise science.
Review Articles
Comprehensive analyses of previously published research on specific topics.
Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses
Studies that systematically evaluate existing research using structured methods.
Case Studies
Detailed analyses of individual or small group cases that provide valuable insights for research or practice.
Language
Manuscripts must be written in clear and professional English.
Authors whose native language is not English are encouraged to have their manuscripts reviewed by a professional language editor prior to submission.

Formatting Requirements
Authors should ensure that their manuscripts follow these formatting guidelines:

File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)

Font: Times New Roman

Font size: 12 pt

Line spacing: 1.5
-
Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides
Tables and figures must be clearly labeled and cited within the text.
Abstract
The abstract should briefly summarize:

Main conclusions
The abstract should not exceed 250 words.
References
References should follow the APA style (7th edition).
All references cited in the text must appear in the reference list, and vice versa.

Plagiarism Policy
All submitted manuscripts are checked using plagiarism detection software.
Manuscripts containing significant plagiarism, duplication, or unethical academic practices will be rejected.
Authors must ensure that their submissions represent original work.

Research involving human participants or animals must comply with recognized ethical standards.

Article Processing Charges (APCs)
The Global Journal of Sport and Exercise Science (GJSES) does not charge any fees for submission, processing, or publication.
