Self-Archiving (Repository) Policy
GJSES allows and encourages authors to deposit all versions of their work in institutional repositories, subject repositories (such as SportRxiv, Zenodo or ResearchGate), on personal or institutional websites, and on academic networks:
- Submitted version (preprint): may be shared at any time, including before submission. Posting a preprint does not prevent submission to GJSES.
- Accepted version (author's accepted manuscript): may be shared immediately after acceptance.
- Published version (version of record): may be shared immediately after publication.
There is no embargo period, and no permission from the journal is needed.
When sharing an accepted or published version, authors should cite the original publication in GJSES and include a link to the article using its DOI (https://doi.org/10.63750/...). The published version is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
When a preprint is followed by publication in GJSES, authors are asked to update the preprint record with the DOI of the published article.
