Professional athletes often stand as symbols of strength, resilience, and achievement. Their lives, seemingly glamorous and enviable, are often romanticized by fans and the media. However, behind their public personas lies a stark contrast a realm of emotional turmoil, particularly in their marital and family lives. This paper explores the complex and often painful marital struggles faced by athletes, both in India and across the globe. Drawing upon real-life cases of notable sports personalities such as Hardik Pandya, Shikhar Dhawan, Sania Mirza, and others, this research unpacks the emotional, psychological, and financial impact of fame on intimate relationships. It also highlights the need for systemic support and responsible media coverage to humanize the pressures these individuals endure.
