The Global Journal of Sport and Exercise Science (GJSES) is pleased to announce an open call for paper submissions. Accepted manuscripts will be published in Volume (2), Number (2), scheduled for publication on 30 JUNE 2026.

Researchers, academics, and practitioners are invited to submit original research articles, systematic reviews, and case studies that contribute to advancing knowledge in the fields of sport and exercise science.

The first issue of Volume 2 (Volume 2, Issue 1, 2026) of the Global Journal of Sport and Exercise Science (GJSES) reflects the journal’s continued commitment to advancing high-quality scholarly research and academic excellence in the field of sport and exercise science.

This issue presents a carefully curated collection of original, peer-reviewed research articles addressing both theoretical and applied dimensions across a broad spectrum of disciplines, including sports physiology, biomechanics, performance analysis, motor learning, sport training science, strength and conditioning, physical fitness assessment, teaching methodologies in physical education and sport sciences, sports nutrition, sport psychology, sport management, sport marketing, measurement and evaluation, testing and assessment in sport, statistical applications in sport research, human anatomy, and contemporary technological innovations in sport and exercise science.

Furthermore, the issue encompasses research focusing on the physical aspects of the human body in general and the athletic individual in particular, as well as all related scientific topics that contribute to understanding, developing, and enhancing human physical performance, health, and athletic achievement within this domain.

The published studies demonstrate methodological rigor, scientific integrity, and practical relevance for researchers, educators, and practitioners at both national and international levels.

GJSES upholds the highest standards of publication ethics, transparency, and editorial independence. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure academic quality, research credibility, and meaningful scientific contribution.

This issue is published under a full open-access model, providing immediate, permanent, and unrestricted access to all published content. The journal does not charge any article processing charges (APCs) or publication fees to authors, and no subscription or access fees are required for readers.
